Pyres.com badge readers, the guarantee of quality
Pyres.com Experience and Expertise
Pyres.com has kept focused on the heart of its business, which is the design, manufacture and marketing of industrial terminals and badge readers.
By developing and integrating the different acquisition techniques (magnetic, barcode, proximity, biometric, hand morphology...) and maintaining a constant watch on new networking and acquisition technologies, Pyres.com offers full support and precedes the technologies currently available on the market.
Pyrescom is partner with the leading TAM software vendors

Due to the quality of our solutions, our R&D and technical support, the leading publishers of Time and Activity Management (TAM) software have included support for TERMOD badge readers in their products, based on:
- - The technical quality of our products (such as network control, their unique security access and monitoring) and the great diversity of database entry (real-time, delayed, batch, multiple batch...)
The two-way interface allowing for dialogue with the person badging (counters, useful data such as medical visits, specific tasks...) which is a core strength of our products.
TERMOD badge-reader with full TCP/IP network integration

The TERMOD badge-reader is a MODular TERminal
TERMINAL because it interfaces:
- On a TCP/IP network, either locally or distant (full Web)
- On a telephone line (PSTN modem built, ISDN, GSM...)
MODULAR for its input/output options
- Proximity readers, 125 khz, 13.56 MgZ, barcode, magnetic, biometric, hand morphology...
- Door opening control (access management), alarms, displays, scanners...

The TERMOD Operating System is in Linux, for a system which is efficient, stable, open, scalable, royalty-free, and with all the TCP / IP protocols necessary for modern networks.
Programs and database files are downloaded from the host computer (NT, LINUX, UNIX, AS400, RS 6000 etc. ..).
The "client" operation mode enables access requests and event procedure triggers, allowing for updates and a real-time interactivity with the host system (regardless of the database, Oracle, SQL, DBase etc...), without affecting system resources.
The switch to "degraded" mode (network failures, remote connections via Modem, etc...) is seamless for the user.
Administration tools and badge reader supervision
A library of programs and tools are hosted on the server (local or hosted) allowing for management of terminal installation and programs, as well as log files tracking transactions relating to a TERMOD reader.
Maintenance and preventive maintenance tools
Monitoring of badge readers and remote interfacing enable the supervision, updating and diagnostics which reduce or eliminate the need for maintenance technicians' physical presence.
Conclusion
Due to the wide variety of products from our software partners and customers, we have created a completely open form of integration.
The wide variety of tools, databases, networks, and security available demanded high quality solutions.
PYRESCOM knows how to adapt its products and related services to you, finding the best solution without one.
